I found bergamot shower steamers at the bookshop and knew they’d be perfect for prosperity spells. I had the perfect person in mind too. This spell format can be used for other goals as well, such as wishing peace upon someone, connecting to a long-distance love, sending healing, or to empower yourself. Simply swap out… View more
You’ll need: You can leave it at that, or you can add charms. Symbols of confidence and personal growth include: Start by cleansing and charging your regents. It’s okay to do this on a different day if you are time poor, but you want to amplify the natural energies of your raw materials as much… View more
I thought a Beltane jar would be a lovely, peaceful, easy way to mark this sabbat. Hades! Witch jars are great year-round, I’ll pop in a recipe for my northern mates too. Create these to display on your altar, desk, or bedside table, to shake, meditate with or just admire, and then when the season… View more
My word of the year is Altruism, but perhaps it should have been forgiveness. I’ll separate those thoughts into a blog post so as not to bog down this entry, but suffice it to say this Eostre, I’m blending the concepts of forgiveness and altruism with Spring’s themes of rebirth and fertility. No shame here. For me, Lughnasadh has an added focus of diligence and teamwork. Of parts coming together…. View more
Seems counter-intuitive, doesn’t it? Adding a spell to your already over-flowing to-do list at the end of the year. But here’s the thing: self-care is important. Crucial. And you need to make time for it. We serve others better when our cups are full. You’ll need: If you want to go bigger: The ritual: Have… View more
This year I wanted to focus on rebirth rather than fertility. Everyone has things they want to work on, parts of themselves they want to reform. I tell myself this anyway, but it’s possible I just need more work than average Jo. Whatever. The key with anything is to select realistic goals that have a… View more
